Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our nurturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for young learners, promoting their development through play-based learning and structured activities.

Duties

Manage the daily activities of children in the nursery, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that cater to the individual needs of each child. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and foster a supportive community. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting learning strategies as necessary. Lead group activities that encourage social interaction, creativity, and physical development. Maintain a clean and organised learning environment that promotes exploration and discovery. Drive initiatives that enhance the overall quality of care and education within the nursery setting.

Requirements

Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for early years education and child development. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required. A commitment to creating an inclusive environment that respects diversity among children and families.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.50-13.70 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
