Job Summary


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners, fostering their development through engaging activities and play-based learning. The Early Years Educator will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care and education are provided.

Duties



Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote children's learning and development. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to track their development. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication. Support children in their social, emotional, and physical development by providing guidance and encouragement. Collaborate with team members to plan activities that stimulate curiosity and creativity. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery space, ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education.

Requirements



Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable. Strong management and leadership skills to guide and support junior staff members. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. A commitment to providing high-quality care and education for young learners. Driving licence preferred for potential off-site activities or visits. Ability to work as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required.
