Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our nurturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role is pivotal in fostering a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment that promotes the development of children in their formative years.

Duties

Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that stimulate children's learning and development. Manage daily activities, ensuring a structured yet flexible environment that meets the needs of all children. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive community. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback and support to encourage their growth. Drive initiatives that promote inclusivity and diversity within the nursery setting. Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the overall quality of childcare.

Skills

Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education settings, particularly within a nursery environment. Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire both children and fellow educators. Excellent communication skills in English, enabling effective interaction with children, parents, and staff. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail in a busy setting. A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their individual needs. Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early years education.
