Job Summary
Purpose of post
To work with in a busy nursery across rooms age range 6 months to 4 years, and support continuous professional development with in your team
To contribute to a high standard of physical social and intellectual care for the children in the nursery.
To view the nursery as a whole.
To support other personnel within the nursery including students, lead and motivate your team.
To implement daily routines and duties - making adjustments as required e.g staff on leave/absent and ensure these are followed
To work with Management and the Room Leaders to continually improve quality through evaluation and implement change to facilitate development
To guide and monitor staff in dealing with new situations/systems ensuring procedures are followed as agreed by the Manager/Deputy - facilitating the continuing development of the environment and achievements and outcomes for the children.
To communicate to the Manger/Deputy any issues as and when they arise.
To safeguard the well being of all children within our care and to follow the correct procedures when an issue occurs.

- Use expert knowledge of the EYFS to plan effectively for the children
- Role model expectations to ALL staff and students

- Liaise with parents

- Support Room Leaders in their decision making and guide deployment of staff (time management)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to 28,500.00 per year
