We are seeking a Baby Room Team Leader who is responsible for the daily operations of our baby room. We provide excellent care and education for up to 15 babies. We believe that every child deserves the best possible start in life and the support which enables them to fulfil their potential. Therefore you will work closely with the Nursery Manager as part of the Nursery Leadership Team, to develop and instil our curriculum which is designed to develop creative, kind, independent, curious and confident children who are ready to continue their love of learning at school. Role-modelling safeguarding, you will promote the ethos that Safeguarding is everyone\xe2\x80\x99s responsibility and that this duty extends beyond the setting to the child\xe2\x80\x99s homelife and elsewhere.

You will:
  • Hold an approved level 3 Early Years Educator qualification/ (or equivalent) or above.
  • Have at least two years\xe2\x80\x99 experience of working in an early year setting or have at least two years\xe2\x80\x99 other suitable experience.
Key Requirements:

You should be able to demonstrate you can:
  • Liaise with parents and professionals face to face/by telephone/in writing.
  • Work both individually and in teams
  • Maintain confidentiality and act appropriately with sensitive information.
