An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Early Years Physiotherapy & Occupational Therapy Team at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust. This post is for 18.75 hours per week.
The post holder will be a compassionate, accountable individual who treats all colleagues, patients and service users with respect and seeks to deliver excellence in their role. They will share the Trust values and be committed to equality, diversity and inclusion.
The post holder will be a key member of the Early Years team, supporting the physiotherapists and occupational therapists to provide early intervention for infants and children from 0 - 5 years of age. The team is experienced, supportive, compassionate and is passionate in providing family centred care to those they work with.
The role will include providing therapy programmes in homes and nurseries across Sheffield, so a valid UK driving licence and access to a car is necessary. In addition you will support hydrotherapy clinics and outpatient clinics at Ryegate Children's Centre.
About You:

Passionate about supporting young children with disabilities and their families
Experienced in health or social care (through employment, volunteering or placements)
Able to work preferably Wednesday to Fridays
Reporting into the Team Manager, your responsibilities will include :
Deliver routine therapy programmes under the direction of registered AHPs
Use play, positioning and physical activity to support rehabilitation
Manage your own caseload and monitor progress
Maintain therapy areas, manage stock and ensure accurate documentation
Promote participation and improve function in daily life for pupils
