Who are we?


We are Aviation Services, AS for short - proud Ground Handling Partner of easyJet here at Edinburgh Airport, and active in 10 Airports across Italy, UK and Malta. We handle all easyJet services in Edinburgh Airport, flying to over 40 destinations from Scotland's capital. From serving guests through bag drop & boarding to handling their baggage and ensuring a safe, professional operation around the aircraft.

As a Ramp Operations Supervisor, your main responsibilities will include overseesing and coordinating activities of the ramp operations team at the airport. You will be primary responsibile to ensure the safety and timely handling of aircraft on the ground. You will also be responsbile for maintaining the operational integrity and safety of airport ground operations.



You will be a part of the Ramp Operations Team for easyJet at Edinburgh Airport, where you will play a pivotal role in managing ramp staff, overseeing ground operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and working to optimize operational efficiency.

Please note that this role is for:

37.5 hours per week contract worked on a shift basis of 4 days on, 4 days off.



Driving license is mandatory.###

Your main responsibilities on a day to day basis will be:-





Overseeing daily operations of ramp agents, ground handling staff, assigning tasks and managing work schedules to ensure there is adequate staff and coverage Monitoring performance, providing guidance, training and feedback Supporting QSSE team for safety oversight, investigations, ongoing employee training and development Complying with airport airline regulatory safety standards and procedures Investigating and reporting any incidents, accidents or safety violations Supervising loading and unloading of baggage, cargo, overseeing pushback operations, ensuring proper handling of ground support equipment and maintenance Managing staff resources and ground support equipment Monitoring and optimising ramp operations to reduce turnaround times and improve efficiency. Tracking performance on operational efficiency and safety Maintaining detailed records of operations, staff attendance, equipment usage and incidents Addressing any issues and implementing contingency plans especially in adverse weather conditions or challenging situations Performing any other duties requested by the ramp duty manager

To be successful in this role you will need:-





Obsessed with delivering outstanding customer service A clear, friendly and calm communicator Previous experiencein ramp operations or ground handling with supervisory ability Proud to present yourself well whilst upholding uniform standards Thrive under pressure and love the buzz of the airport environment Able to follow operational procedures Able to use the easyJet systems, customer service software and standard office applications. Good knowledge of airline/handling agent DCS but not essential Confident dealing with challenging situations This is not your normal 9 till 5 job. You will be required to do early and late shifts, including weekends so flexibility in working hours is critical A valid UK driving license is essential
