The Team



The Belfast Finance department provides services to the A&O Shearman offices covering management and financial accounting & reporting, revenue control (includes eBilling), credit control, accounts payable and tax. The e-Billing Team provide a global service across our network of offices.



As an eBilling Assistant, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all eBilling transactions through the 3E finance system, and third-party eBilling systems, helping to support all offices in our network. There is a strong client service ethic, and we work to Service Level Agreements, targets and deadlines to deliver in line with client expectations.



What you will do



Review & submission of eBills into various eBilling portals; Tracking of invoice lifecycle across our finance system; Appropriate electronic filing of all documentation; Presentation of eBilling data to assigned offices; All related administrative duties as instructed by Team Lead in order to successfully submit our eBills. Resolving data issues which prevent successful submissions; Deal with telephone and mailbox enquiries and queries; Provide general support and advice within the eBilling department Involvement in ad hoc projects.


Who we are looking for



Strong attention to detail with the ability to review large amounts of data and files. Confident IT user - able to navigate and work across multiple systems with ease. Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities to meet targets and tight deadlines. Commitment to providing professional, responsive and effective relationships. Team player who collaborates with others and works effectively in a team. Shares knowledge and skills, and provides and accepts feedback Excellent communicator, with the ability to engage confidently with others. Committed to the maintenance of established processes and systems. Experience of working with eBilling systems and knowledge of the eBilling processes is desirable but not essential.
