We are currently seeking an ECC (NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract) Project Manager to join us. This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of projects, across various technical disciplines with clients across country. These projects can include HVDC, interconnectors, windfarms, substations, OHL, geotechnical solutions, building design, protection systems, LVAC, FEED, new builds, refurbishment works, connections schemes etc.

You will join a growing and collaborative team, working in partnership with a variety of clients to develop innovative and sustainable solutions to industry-wide efficiency and environmental challenges. We have ambitious growth plans and as a result there are lots of great development opportunities across our business. This is an opportunity for you to play an important part in the U.K. energy transition.

As part of your role, you will

Manage the full lifecycle of the project from feasibility to detailed design to construction and closure.

Reporting the project status including commercial and programme

Management of internal teams, clients and subcontractors

Manage the contract and adhere to contract data

Manage time, quality, cost and risk across the lifecycle of a project

Raise change (compensation events and early warnings in a timely manner through to completion)

Communication and reporting to the client and subcontractors

Promote a high standard of health and safety

About You

You will be a pro-active individual with knowledge and understanding of the electricity transmission and distribution industry. You will have the capability to coach and work within the wider energy team. You will be engaged in the engineering community and understand how we can drive success for our clients, including understanding innovative solutions and industry best practices.

Hold an NEC4 ECC Project Manager accreditation.

Have previous project management experience in the areas listed in \'job role\'

We are particularly interested in anyone who has good knowledge of National Grid\'s Transmission procedures and has thorough knowledge and experience applying National Grids Technical Specification, Technical Guidance Notes, and Design Handbooks relating to civil/structural engineering of electricity T&D infrastructure in the UK.

An understanding of the causes and consequences of Impressed Voltage is preferable.
