Job Description
A global Process Equipment manufacturer are looking for an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to strengthen their multi-disciplined Engineering team.
The successful Electrical Design Engineer will report directly to the Team Manager and will join an existing team of dedicated Electrical/Controls Engineers. You\'ll be working on bespoke designs for complex Process Equipment and will be working closely with Project, Mechanical, Process and Sales Engineers. Key tasks include concept development, process design, detail drawings, calculations, documentation, supplier liaison, test & validation, and occasionally commissioning (a couple times per year).
This company are strong believers in improving staff and there will be options to take on more responsibility and additional skills such as PLC programming. Experience within this field would be beneficial for applicants.
Electrical Controls Engineer requirements:
- HNC/D or Degree in Electrical, Chemical, Process Engineering (or similar)
- Full lifecycle process control design experience - design, documentation, testing etc.
- CAD skills
- Able to occasionally travel
