Key Responsibilities include:

\xc2\xb7 Successful execution of quality engineering work to time, quality, budget and customer satisfaction.

\xc2\xb7 Provide support to Software, C&I and System Safety Engineers for the development and testing of code migration & dynamic model/simulation environments.

\xc2\xb7 Power distribution, Panel/motor/cable sizing, layouts and supporting calculations.

\xc2\xb7 Electrical system design, commissioning and testing.

\xc2\xb7 Design, configuration, implementation and testing of SCADA systems.

\xc2\xb7 Understanding of fault analysis and reliability assessments using recognised techniques including FMEA, FTA, HAZID, HAZOP.

\xc2\xb7 Develop production/checking of design basis documents, input to P&ID\'s and preparation of SIDD.

\xc2\xb7 Review, modify and configure instrumentation design.

\xc2\xb7 Undertaking of SIL assessments in accordance with EN 61508.

\xc2\xb7 Interfacing between other technical disciplines.

\xc2\xb7 Prepare specification documents.

\xc2\xb7 Carry out site surveys of plant and equipment and document the results.

\xc2\xb7 Plan and manage own engineering design and assessment work within constraints of project time and schedule.

\xc2\xb7 Managing and attending SHE reviews under CDM Regulations 2015.

\xc2\xb7 Design change management.

\xc2\xb7 Assist with technical input for the proposals/tenders. Here\xe2\x80\x99s What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Need:

\xc2\xb7 HNC HND or Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.

\xc2\xb7 Membership of an appropriate Institute.

\xc2\xb7 A comprehensive knowledge of the IET Wiring Regulations BS 7671

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge and experience of a broad range of C&I equipment and its application in both conventional and safety related applications.

\xc2\xb7 The technical ability to work through problems from basic principles.

\xc2\xb7 Experience working in a highly regulated industry.

\xc2\xb7 Previous experience as part of a dedicated or multi-discipline design team.

\xc2\xb7 Committed to Continuous Professional Development.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work unsupervised.

\xc2\xb7 Must be a sole UK national.

\xc2\xb7 Must be at able to achieve SC/DV clearance.
