An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Ecology team in Northamptonshire. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join the team as an Ecological Consultant and become a key part of our Ecological services offer, making a real difference for our planet.
Key responsibilities:
To support the ecology team with all aspects of survey work and delivery of client projects
Support in conducting ecological surveys, species licensing, mitigation and project management
Supporting seniors and principals with the preparation of reports including EIA do, Habitat Regulations Assessments and engagement with stakeholders
Supporting with the preparation of fee proposals
The ideal candidate will:
Have a passion for the protection and enhancement of our planet
Hold a degree in ecology, environmental science or similarly related subject
Hold at least one protected species licence
Be computer literate with strong Microsoft Office skills
Have strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate a flexible and enthusiastic approach to all projects and tasks
Have a friendly and professional manner
Have a full UK driving licence due to our remote location
Desirable:
Experience with bat analysis
A wider understanding of environmental net gain & land management
Have a passion for the environment, sustainability & biodiversity

This position is a full-time role, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) 08:30 - 17:30.
