Here at RSK Biocensus, part of RSK Group are looking for an Ecology Project Manager who has exceptional communication, problem solving and organisational skills.
You will have the opportunity to be involved in wide ranging work across renewable energy, rail, highways, water infrastructure, housing and much more. You will also work closely with our expert ecologists to deliver high quality services to our clients, and you will be supported by senior staff and our dedicated project support team.
Another bonus of this role at joining us is that we will support you through the stages of APM membership, to chartership.
Main Responsibilities:

  • Managing large and complex ecology projects, including the timely delivery of reports and survey outputs.
  • The main point of contact with clients on the projects you manage.
  • Working closely with specialist ecologists for technical inputs.
  • Coordinating and scheduling field survey programs involving our staff and subcontractors.
  • Managing project budgets and carrying out contract administration.
  • Contributing to bids and tenders for new work.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
You will be a dynamic and motivated with strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a project team. You will also be able to work under time pressure, prioritise workloads, and quickly adapt to changing work requirements.
A degree in an Ecological / Environmental related degree or substantial relevant experience would be desirable but not essential.
Demonstrable strong skills in project management through experience, training and qualification (e.g APM PMQ) would also be welcomed.
