The Role



As a growing business, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to assist with the optimisation and product maintenance of our website.. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, able to work independently and prioritise workload according to incoming demand.

TBWS is a retailer of welding and industrial equipment. We supply to both members of the public, through our trade counter and website, and to larger businesses on account, including international companies.



Products vary from machines for welding and cutting, air compressors, spare parts and safety equipment. Our website www.tbws.co.uk lists over 4000 products with more being added every day.



Working with our suppliers, we source and supply quality equipment at competitive prices. Our reputation is extremely important to us and we strive to provide the best customer service there is in this industry.



Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled E Commerce Executive to manage and maintain our web platform. The job will involve adding new products and updating/maintaining the existing database, based on data driven decisions. With a sound knowledge of google analytics, google shopping and google ads, the candidate will have a experience of working in an ecommerce role. This position requires a proactive individual who can prioritise their workload and work independently.

Responsibilities



Analyse data from the Google suite and maximise use of a budget for

google ads

and

Google Shopping

campaigns. Use

Google Analytics

to discern key areas for growth and look at current trends in order to improve conversion rate

Prepare and Maintain Listings:

Using Wordpress, you will create unique content to add product listings to the website.

Upload and Optimize Product Listings:

Ensure all details are accurate and well-presented before they go live. Conduct thorough quality checks to eliminate errors.

SEO and Market Research:

Use keyword research tools to draft creative, SEO-friendly product descriptions. Work on implementing SEO strategies to improve page positions and ranking online.

Optimize website content

for search engines to improve organic traffic and visibility

Manage and publish content updates

(banners, images, copy, videos) to support promotions, events or campaigns Create and manage

redirects

to improve site navigation and SEO. Make necessary updates based on

Google Merchant Center

recommendations to maintain account stability.
For the right candidate there is an opportunity to expand the role to include:

Blogging and writing articles based on products, case studies and manufacturing processes. Responsible for news posts across all social media platforms and website article pages. Product images and video content such as product demos on YouTube. Customer database management for marketing campaigns Stock control: Manage and upload the latest products and inventory database Email marketing (MailChimp) Assist in the development of email marketing campaigns and newsletters

This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working from home/office once you have demonstrated trustworthiness, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to meeting performance expectations.



Initially, you will work from our our office to complete training and familiarise yourself with the role and company processes. Upon successful completion of this period and meeting performance milestones, you may transition to a hybrid working arrangement - with the expectation to work from the office a minimum of 2 days a week and when required.



Essential Skills:



Experience in the WordPress platform Proven ability in photo editing software Sound working knowledge of Google Analytics, Ads and Shopping. Excellent communication skills - verbal and written Outstanding attention to detail Strong IT skills for use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) Pro-active and hard working with a positive "can do" attitude Enthusiasm to learn, improve and succeed Ability to work mostly from your own initiative, in a small office team and able to diversify when required

Required Experience



- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an eCommerce role, or have expertise in WordPress/Google Suite.

- Exceptional customer service skills, both written and verbal.

- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

- Familiarity with online marketplace tools.
