We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and hands-on
E-Commerce Specialist
to lead the launch and scaling of a new dropshipping operation. This role is ideal for someone with a
proven track record of launching and scaling Shopify stores
and the ability to bring a
clear, structured plan
to execute from product selection to profitable scaling.
The successful candidate will work closely with leadership and marketing partners. As the business grows,
a team will be built around this role
to support operations, marketing, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a complete
e-commerce launch and growth strategy
.
Conduct and validate niche and product research using tools such as Google Trends, TikTok, Amazon Bestsellers, Dropship.io, and Minea.
Identify hero products with strong market potential and high perceived value.
Source and manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and shipping, and assess product samples.
Build a high-converting Shopify storefront including theme setup, product listings, reviews, legal pages, and branding elements.
Implement and manage tech stack: fulfillment automation (DSers, CJ Dropshipping), email marketing (Klaviyo, Omnisend), analytics (Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics), upsell and bundle apps.
Establish operational systems including logistics, order tracking automation, and customer support platforms (Gorgias, Zendesk).
Collaborate with marketing partners to develop and execute launch strategy, creative assets, and advertising campaigns.
Set and monitor marketing performance metrics (e.g., ROAS, CTR, CPA), and adjust campaigns to maximize profitability.
Manage analytics and reporting to guide decision-making and scaling strategy.
Oversee customer support processes to ensure a strong post-purchase experience.
Identify winning products and funnels; implement A/B testing on offers, upsells, and bundles.
Scale campaigns through Meta Ads, Google Shopping, retargeting, and influencer partnerships.
Implement retention strategies including automated email flows, loyalty programs, and referral campaigns.
Negotiate improved supplier terms as sales volume grows, including pricing, packaging, and shipping times.
Report regularly on performance, growth, and opportunities to leadership.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling Shopify dropshipping stores.
Ability to bring a
structured, actionable plan
to lead execution from launch through to scaling.
Must provide
evidence of previous success
(e.g., dashboards, case studies, revenue performance, ROAS data, or references).
Advanced knowledge of Shopify and key e-commerce app integrations.
Strong understanding of product selection strategies, supplier sourcing, and fulfillment workflows.
Experience optimizing paid traffic and working closely with marketing teams.
Proficient with key tools: DSers, CJ Dropshipping, Klaviyo, Gorgias/Zendesk.
Excellent analytical, operational, and communication skills.
Experience in or understanding of the UK e-commerce landscape is preferred.
Reporting
Reports directly to the Founder/CEO and works closely with external Marketing Partners, Creative Teams, Customer Support, Supply & Logistics, and Finance.
A wider team will be built around this role
as the operation scales to support execution and growth.
