Company & Role Overview



Cinway Supermarket is a fast-growing online Asian grocery platform in the UK, offering a convenient, authentic and culturally familiar one-stop shopping experience for the UK Chinese community. Our team is fast-moving, collaborative and focused on delivering reliable quality across a curated range of Asian essentials.

We are looking for an operator with strong insight into the UK Chinese community, capable of driving early growth initiatives, spotting scalable opportunities and contributing to key decisions across product, market and content development.

Key Responsibilities



- Conduct ongoing research into the shopping behaviours of UK-based Chinese consumers, monitor key competitors, identify emerging category and product opportunities, and synthesise these findings into clear market and consumer insights.

- Develop a structured approach to product evaluation by assessing SKU potential, prioritising items for testing, and offering well-reasoned recommendations on initial pricing and product positioning.

- Provide strategic guidance on content by articulating user insights and purchase motivations, collaborating closely with the content team to ensure that creative themes reflect the expectations, behaviours and psychological drivers of UK-based Chinese consumers.

- Review performance data to identify key factors shaping user behaviour and commercial outcomes, and translate these findings into clear strategic recommendations that support ongoing optimisation across products, campaigns and wider growth initiatives.

- Draw on customer feedback and behavioural patterns to build an early understanding of distinct user groups, contributing to the development of foundational retention strategies and segmentation models that enable long-term growth.

Requirements



- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, Media, E-commerce or a related field.

- Around 2-3 years of trackable experience in e-commerce, marketing operations, retail or another growth-focused role.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional and remote teams.

- Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities with a structured and reliable approach in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficient with standard office software and comfortable working with digital tools, with a proactive and curious mindset that supports rapid testing, iteration and continuous learning.

Pay: 28,000.00-32,000.00 per year
