We are seeking a highly organized and creative

E-commerce Merchandiser & Product Content Editor

Key Responsibilities

E-commerce Merchandising

Plan and execute product placements, categories, landing pages, and seasonal merchandising strategies across the site. Use data insights to optimize product sort order, category performance, and on-site navigation. Collaborate with marketing and design to update homepage, banners, and promotional content in sync with campaigns. Monitor product visibility, out-of-stock items, and conversion data to improve customer journey and sales performance. Manage cross-selling and upselling strategies to increase AOV.

Product Content Editing

Write and edit high-quality product titles, descriptions, and technical specifications. Ensure all content is accurate, brand-consistent, and SEO-optimized. Upload and manage product imagery and digital assets, ensuring visual accuracy and compliance. Perform regular audits to ensure pricing, inventory, and metadata accuracy. Work closely with the E commerce team to ensure timely product launches.

Tools & Platform Experience

Adobe Commerce (Magento 2):

Advanced working knowledge required (product uploads, content blocks, CMS pages, merchandising rules).

Google Analytics / GA4:

Understanding of traffic and conversion insights.

Excel / Google Sheets:

For bulk data uploads, catalog management, and product analysis.

Basic HTML/CSS:

Ability to troubleshoot content formatting and page layout.

Image tools:

Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop or Canva for light image adjustments.

Requirements

Essential Skills

2+ years' experience in a similar e-commerce role (product editing, merchandising, or digital content). Strong written communication skills and attention to detail. Proven success in using analytics to drive merchandising decisions. Deep familiarity with e-commerce best practices, especially product page UX and conversion drivers. Experience working in fast-paced retail or DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) environments.

Preferred

Experience in Roofing or Building Materials Experience with merchandising tools like Adobe Sensei is a plus.
