This Role
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to kick-start their marketing career and gain hands-on experience in ecommerce and website optimisation. As our new Ecommerce Optimisation Executive, you'll play an important role in helping us improve how our website performs - making it easier and more compelling for our customers to shop and buy online.
You'll work closely with our marketing, design, and development teams to test and improve the user experience (UX), visuals, and content on our website. You'll support the creation of ideas for website improvements, help set up A/B tests, and learn how to interpret test results to understand what helps drive conversions.
This is a great opportunity to learn how data, design, and marketing work together - in a fast-moving, supportive team environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in identifying areas of the website that could be improved to increase sales and enhance the customer experience.
Supporting the setup and running of A/B tests using our in-house software, SPARK.
Helping to analyse performance data and draw insights from test results - with support and guidance.
Collaborating with the design and development teams to update website content, layouts, and messaging.
Staying up to date with ecommerce trends and best practices in user experience and conversion optimisation.
You'll excel in this role if you have the following skills & experience:
A keen interest in ecommerce, digital marketing, or user experience
Organised, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a collaborative team
A curious mindset and a willingness to learn - especially about how website experiences influence buying behaviour
Proficient with Microsoft Excel (working with data sets, formulas, and basic analysis)
Comfortable working with data and using it to guide decisions (training will be provided)
Basic understanding of GA4
Basic understanding of how websites work - familiarity with HTML/CSS is helpful, but not essential
