We are an eCommerce company selling knitting and crochet yarns and accessories based in Chester. Our products are high quality natural fibre yarns and premium knitting and crochet patterns and accessories. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team to manage our product catalogue and website content and drive sales through our range of fantastic products.
eCommerce experience and knowledge of knitting / crochet is an advantage but not essential.
Key Responsibilities will include
:
Updating and maintaining the product catalogue on our sales platforms (principally website and Amazon) with new product information and digital content including blog
Maintain high quality image and digital content throughout our sales platforms
Product purchasing including co-ordinating and liaising with suppliers
Work with General Manager and Social Media Manager on promotion and marketing campaigns to drive sales
Create and standardize key processes in support of your role
Identify opportunities to develop and grow online sales
About You
We need someone to fulfil a role as an online retail catalogue administrator. There are a number of defined roles and responsibilities which we need you to deliver but we are a small company so there is a great opportunity to shape the role to other areas of interest. Those interested in knitting, crochet, crafts, online retailing and e-commerce will get real value from this role.
We are a small team and we are looking for someone who will integrate into the team quickly. You will have direct access to the Directors of the business so we are looking for someone who is pro-active, motivated and able to communicate. You will have an eye for detail, the ability to prioritise tasks and provide great customer service.
Your profile:
You will have experience of working in eCommerce and a knowledge of knitting and crochet would be an advantage
Be a detail person who is confident and competent manipulating data in Excel and working with database systems
You will have excellent written English
Able to organize the disorder, prioritize and think clearly between multiple tasks
Have an understanding of SEO and keywords to drive traffic to our products
Be confident and competent with tools such as Canva, image editing software and AI tools such as Chat GPT to maximise your efficiency
You will be a motivated individual and have a bright personality - we're a small team and need people who can use initiative and can work with a degree of independence.
