The UK Trading team fuels UK growth by optimising online product sales on Next.co.uk across Womenswear, Menswear, Childrenswear, Beauty and Home. They drive exciting product launches and strategic promotions to maximise sales and brand visibility.
About the Role:
Working as an eCommerce Product Marketing Assistant, you will play a key role in our fast-paced eCommerce Campaigns team, helping to prepare, execute and analyse future opportunities for each individual campaign - Christmas, Valentines day, Mothers day and more! You'll use your understanding of key trading periods and your ability to interpret sales data and trends to help plan campaign exposure for all key events within the business. This role is cross-divisional, so you'll be working closely with teams across the business, therefore confidence in communication and collaboration is essential. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a flair for creativity, who can also bring strong organisation skills, fashion-forward thinking and sharp commercial awareness.
What else is involved?

  • You'll analyse weekly reports to maximise sales for each campaign through onsite optimisations, including sort order checks, site checks and ensuring the latest product is featured in each campaign.
  • You will contribute and report to stakeholders in weekly trade meetings, reporting accurately on key metrics and best sellers for current campaigns, reacting to customer behaviour and using commercial awareness to inform decision making and adapt marketing accordingly.
  • You will contribute on wrap-up reports at the end of each campaign, identifying successes, missed opportunities and analyse how these could be made into future opportunities.
  • You will have good communication skills to build productive relationships across all levels of the business, holding and participating in productive meetings and establishing effective and efficient ways of working.
  • Project management of your workload, ability to prioritise, and good problem solving skills are all essential as you will drive tasks through to completion. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate administration of key business documents - so organisation is key!
  • You'll use your creativity when briefing in emails, landing page updates & push notifications to support campaign exposure, checking in the with relevant teams on any results and learnings and documenting these for future campaigns.
  • You'll work closely with the trading manager, supporting and planning the annual trading calendar, helping to plan yearly marketing activity, using data from the previous year to inform decisions.
  • You will review & refresh onsite assets whilst looking out for new campaign opportunities for Next Ads - a fast growing department in the business!
  • You'll be responsible for maintaining Line Lists for individual campaigns, uploading them to relevant onsite promotions and inputting into PBI for accurate reporting.
  • You will stay informed about the latest competitor activity and trends and provide recommendations based on your research to ensure the site remains competitive.

About You:
  • Experience within eCommerce trading or marketing is required.
  • Highly motivated and hardworking with a professional attitude, who is able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Displays a clear sense of vision, direction and self-belief, with perseverance and a desire to succeed.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to a range of audiences and influence to win support for positive change and new ideas.
  • Evidence-based approach, and comfortable with using data reporting tools with an eye for detail, identifying opportunities and creating solutions with a positive attitude to change.
  • Is able to accurately identify your own development needs and is open to learning.
  • Commercial acumen is key for this role.
