WHAT TO EXPECT

The purpose of this role is to integrate and deploy the work delivered by the JLR EDS in-house complexity tools team into the EDS Complexity delivery teams by organising and leading training sessions as well as publishing user documentation in JLR Way. The role holder will ensure the minimum level of quality for EDS complexity is being achieved across projects, measured through various in-house tools and analytics, continuing to deliver the objective of achieving zero issues related to EDS complexity at build.

The role holder must also support the creation and testing of EDS complexity in-house tools and work closely with the EDS Complexity delivery teams to understand analytical complexity issues, assist in providing solutions to bug fixes or process inefficiencies and be required to document enhancements or new requirements. Engagement with cross-functional departments to drive EDS complexity process improvements or to run studies to support the business\' simplification strategy is also required.

WHAT YOU\'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

You will be participating in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, lean coffees which will lead the integration of JLR EDS in-house complexity tools team into the EDS Complexity delivery teams.

You will also be -

  • Create and provide technical tool support and training to end-customers.
  • Create official process documentation and user guides on JLR Way.
  • Work with end customers to provide solutions to bug fixes and required enhancement requests.
  • Identify and resolve Complexity tool or process inefficiencies and opportunities.
  • Engage with cross functional departments to drive EDS complexity process improvements and run studies supporting the simplification strategy.
  • Support the development and architecture of the new EDS Complexity tools.
WHAT YOU\'LL NEED

Essential:
  • Strong knowledge of EDS Complexity
  • Able to analyse large complex data sets
  • Strong knowledge of IT tools and architecture (MS office tools, Google cloud, etc)
  • Needs to be analytical.
  • Data analysis.
  • Needs to understand the tools and software used.
  • Has to be a good communicator.
  • Has to do a lot of liaising.
  • Bit of experience in this area.
  • EDS experience.
