In this role you will identify the need and understand the content for the subassemblies in the wire harness, specially around Coax cable hardware, Ethernet, Flex ray, USB, and airbag squib connectors. You will connect with cross functional teams and external suppliers to deliver EDS projects.

As EDS Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for the handling manuals and validate the requirements of the handling manuals (Manufacturing and Installation either within the vehicle or within wiring harnesses).

In this role you will also:

Lead definition of subassemblies and follow change management procedure to create 2D drawings

Create subassembly 3D/ 2D drawing (Knowledge 3D experience and CAPITAL XC). Maintain 2D drawings through the design & serial production phases

Identify, review and implement cost savings (VAVE)

Validation and optimization of subassembly lengths
