WHAT TO EXPECT

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to the investigating commodity to accurately define and represent the issue by utilising and engaging company problem solving techniques.
• Leads resolution of EDS engineering issues through data analysis and working with Manufacturing, Centre of Competence, Suppliers, Product Investigation (Service) and Dealers.
• Provide support and assistance in all areas with EDS engineering expertise and technical guidance with a special focus on the usage of Quality Tools.
• Contribute to the preparation and presentation of analysis, findings and results to Senior Stakeholders .
• Work on the J.D. Powers automotive rating route map to achieve the stretch targets for the J.D. Powers survey in the Launch year, creating validation actions at Verification Prototype and then drive required improvements through Tooling Trial.
• Identifies necessary prevent re-occurrence actions and leads their resolution, raising any replicate action when necessary.
• Coaches EDS teams on root cause analysis for any issue/ AIM.
• Leads standard update or creation for process improvement and follow-up and cascading of corporate KPI\'s.

• Proven technical knowledge related to EDS / wiring harness
• Experience of cross functional co-ordination capability in Engineering, Manufacturing, Service and Quality
• Green Belt six sigma qualification
• Must be computer literate, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and easily adapt to company specific systems (previous knowledge in WERS, AIMS, RMDV, ECR\'s would be a benefit but not essential as training can be provided).
• Strategic thinker willing to develop their role for the progression of the commodity
• Self-starter on problem solving methodology (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa, Statistical tools, Weibull analysis)
• Self-starter on component design (functional analysis, DFMEA, critical characteristic identification/ cascade)
• Experience of cross functional co-ordination capability in Engineering, Manufacturing, Service and Quality Familiar with Define Measure Analyse Implement Control Replicate processes
• Knowledge of Quality Operating Systems procedures & deliverables
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred
