Job Description

Education Account Manager - UK
Based in Cheadle, Manchester
Full-time
Inspire schools to achieve more than they thought possible with Apple technology.
We exist to be the most trusted Apple Education Partner in the UK and Ireland - a partner that doesn't just supply technology but equips schools to achieve more than they thought possible. Our unified solutions, services, and funding strategies give schools the clarity, confidence, and capability to make the right decisions for their students, staff, and communities.
We're now looking for an Education Account Manager to join our mission and help more schools, colleges, and universities take bold steps forward with Apple technology.
About the Role
As an Education Account Manager, you'll be at the heart of our ambition; driving growth, building trusted relationships, and guiding education leaders to make technology decisions that deliver real impact.
You'll work with Primary and Secondary schools, Multi-Academy Trusts, Further Education colleges, and Higher Education institutions, helping them see what's possible through Apple technology and our professional learning and technical services.
This role is about much more than sales. It's about insight, influence, and partnership. You'll challenge assumptions, reveal opportunities, and help schools transform teaching, learning, and leadership with confidence.
Why Join Us
At our core, we're relentless in developing our people into the most skilled and insightful professionals in the market:

  • Sales professionals who understand our customers' world, challenge assumptions, and reveal opportunities schools didn't know existed.
  • Learning specialists who empower educators to enrich teaching and deepen learning with Apple technology.
  • Technical teams who ensure every deployment works seamlessly, giving schools confidence their technology will deliver every single day.
Here, you'll be part of a team that believes in raising the standard, challenging the status quo, and inspiring schools to achieve more than they thought possible.
Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Proactively engage with schools, Multi-Academy Trusts, colleges, universities, and Local Authorities via phone, email, social media, and events.
  • Position our organisation as a trusted Apple Premium Education Partner (APEP) and Apple Professional Learning Provider (APLP).
  • Build and manage a structured sales pipeline, ensuring opportunities are accurately tracked and progressed.
  • Generate meaningful meetings with decision-makers such as Headteachers, Deputy Headteachers, Trust ICT Directors, IT Managers, and Network Managers.
  • Create, present, and follow up on tailored proposals and quotations for Apple technology, services, and professional learning solutions.
  • Nurture existing customer relationships through collaboration with internal teams including Apple Professional Learning Specialists, Trainers, and Technical Support.
  • Demonstrate how Apple technology transforms teaching and learning through customer success stories and evidence-based practice.
  • Produce accurate forecasts and reports, maintaining high standards of precision and professionalism.
  • Participate in the Apple Education Academy programme and ongoing development via the SEED platform to deepen your expertise.
  • Support marketing campaigns and events, driving engagement and follow-up activity.
  • Apply solution selling techniques to identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling.
  • Maintain a high-quality, accurate database of school, college, and university contacts.
Essential Experience and Skills
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Demonstrated success in new business acquisition and account development.
  • Experience in outbound sales, ideally within the IT or Education sector.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to make sound business decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a confident and consultative approach.
  • Strong presentation, influencing, and negotiation abilities.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in CRM systems; experience with Microsoft Business Central desirable but not essential.
  • Good understanding of business finance and deal structuring.
  • Genuine passion for technology and how it transforms education.
If you're ready to take bold steps forward, for yourself and for the schools you'll serve, we'd love to hear from you.
Apply now to join us and help shape the future of learning with Apple technology.
