Central Veterinary Services are expanding and looking for an additional Administrator to join the CQ team for a part-time role at our offices in Elmswell, Suffolk.

The role would be for 16 - 24 hours a week

Ideally the hours we need covered in the office are between 08:30 - 14:30

This role is office based in Elmswell, Suffolk

Job Purpose:



To support Central Qualifications (CQ) & Central by providing an accurate administrative service to the teams, as a member of the CQ Team, you'll be helping manage students through their final examinations processes to become qualified veterinary nurses.

To assist with the advanced qualifications for vet and vet nurses as required.

Duties / Responsibilities:



Assisting to co-ordinate exam entries for each exam session - for the practical and video exams. Ensure all paperwork and consumables are prepared ready for practical examinations. Assisting the team with high quality administration support. Registering students on the systems and with the regulator organisation. Assisting with updating the results and marking databases. Uploading and tracking apprentice progression via various software applications. Managing assessor bookings for examination events. Booking students onto examination events. Assisting with planning examination events. Arranging video conference calls. Answering all incoming calls with a polite, confident and professional manner. Maintaining and updating multiple databases. Assisting other internal specialist administrators. Assisting with the planning and preparation of events throughout the year. Other administrative duties, as necessary.

Skills and experience you will need:



This position will suit someone who is self-motivated, extremely well organized, pro-active and with an ability to meet deadlines. In addition:

You will enjoy working as part of a friendly and focused team. Excellent organisational and planning skills. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Understanding of multiple computerised IT systems. Have strong communication skills. Experience or understanding within an academic or further education establishment - preferred but not essential. Ability to work under pressure.
