Student Operations is responsible for the student record - its management and quality - as well as the principal functions supporting the student lifecycle (e.g. exams, timetabling, curriculum information). The division is also responsible for student statutory reporting to external stakeholders (e.g. HESA, OfS, GMC). There is a close working relationship between Student Operations and SRS Education Services, as well as with the Office of the Vice-Provost (Education & Student Experience).
About the role
This post is part of the Student Data Quality team within the Student Operations directorate.
As Education and Student Data Librarian, you will need to work closely with colleagues in Student and Registry Services (SRS) and across faculties and other Professional Services, especially in the Information Services Division (ISD), to respond to requests and identify issues. You will be part of a team of colleagues devoted to improving student and education data quality for all use cases. You will work closely with the data analysts who will assist in collating, analysing, and reporting on data to propose solutions for effective decision making.
