About the team

The Education Quality Assurance (EQA) Team ensures all providers of professional education and training for nurses, midwives and nursing associates continue to meet the required standards, in accordance with the Council\'s statutory duties.

About the role

This role will ensure the safe and effective quality assurance of programmes delivered by approved education institutions (AEIs), including approval and monitoring, in line with the NMC\'s Quality Assurance Framework.

This role holder will focus on establishing professional, supportive and developmental relationships with AEIs across the UK, as well as relationships with our QA service provider and wider health and care organisations involved in the education and training of nurses, midwives and nursing associates.

Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract.

About you

As Education Quality Assurance Manager, you\'ll be able to:

  • Lead on the identification and investigation of concerns related to education and training, within our defined regulatory remit.
  • Work independently to assess risks to education and training, including an assessment of their urgency and potential impact, making appropriate decisions.
  • Proactively build and maintain influential and collaborative working relationships with our stakeholders.
