An exciting opportunity has become available for a full time Technical Account Manager to join our friendly team based in Devizes, Wiltshire. The role is based within our Primary Education services team and will benefit from Hybrid working with the flexibility to work primarily onsite with our customers, out of our stunning office location on the outskirts of Devizes or from home. The successful candidate will earn between 30,000 - 40,0000 plus Company Car and benefits. This is negotiable depending on experience.

The IT Consultant/Technical Account manager role is a vital part of primary education services team. You will be a senior figure as part of our offering working in collaboration with the Head of Education, site technician, department team leaders and senior management teams to deliver an exceptional service. You will be visiting our customers regularly, to drive improvement and strategic direction within the schools you work with.

You will be expected to provide with confidence; Technical and commercial guidance, implement/maintain a clear IT strategic vision with the school, identify/execute improvements and maintain a fantastic rapport with our valuable customers. As a Technical Account Manager, you will be the consistent and driving force to implement significant impactful change for the educators and students with your school. Your value should shape how our customers use their IT for years to come and maintain this standard.

You will be able to handle a varied and fast paced workload, you must be able to adapt and use your initiative to overcome challenges that you may be faced with.

Candidates should have some experience of working within a Managed Service environment as a Consultant/IT Manager or Technical Account Manager. Ideally you will have worked within a technical position previously, though this is not a hands-on technical role, understanding of this area is beneficial to the role.

Role Requirements



Essential:

- The candidate must be able to drive and willing to commute regularly to site within a 50 mile radius (Further in rare examples).

- Enhanced DBS check (conducted by the company and must remain clean).

- Experience of working in a managed service environment as an Account Manager/Technical Account Manager or Consultant.

- Demonstrable ability to see and capitalise on the value in client and colleague feedback.

- Exceptional communication skills both verbal (In person/remotely/phone) and written.

- Ability to take ownership of a task(s) and leverage expertise internally to ensure it is completed.

- Customer obsessed.

- Excellent time management and priority determination skills.

- Ability to handle a face paced work environment with a varied workload.

- Maintaining a high standard of work and professionalism.

- Team player - Going The Extra Mile (GTEM), providing feedback and supporting colleagues.

Desirable:

- Experience working within Education.

- Prior experience working in a Technical role.

- Clear commercial acumen to be applied when needed.

Role Responsibilities



- Manage and maintain circa 30-50 education customers located across the South West (within a maximum 50 radius).

- Quarterly consultancy visits to site (or Remotely when not possible) with key stakeholders at your schools.

- Drive and maintain IT Strategic development within your schools.

- Provide holistic account management and ownership of your schools.

- Work in collaboration with Head of Primary Education services, the school assigned Technician and all other internal key stakeholders to ensure exceptional service is being delivered.

- Be able to understand and build technical scope and offerings for your customers. Delivering scopes by leveraging internal expertise to deliver projects.
