Exciting Opportunity - Education Welfare Officers City of Doncaster Council - Attendance & Pupil Welfare Service.
We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated Attendance & Pupil Welfare Service. We are currently recruiting for two permanent, term-time Education Welfare Officers positions.
We are looking for highly self-motivated individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who have experience in an Education Welfare Officer role, or a related attendance-focused position. Successful candidates will work closely with schools, families, and both internal and external services to ensure every child and young person has access to suitable full-time education whether through regular school attendance or otherwise.
This role involves fulfilling the statutory responsibilities and duties of the local authority as outlined in relevant legislation, Department for Education guidance, and local policies.
