You'll be teaching on our
Mini-Stay programmes
for students aged
11-18
. These short courses (1-2 weeks) typically combine
20 lessons of General English per week
with exciting cultural trips and activities.
You'll:
Plan and teach engaging lessons focused on communicative skills (listening, speaking)
Support and mentor students throughout their stay
See learners grow in confidence as they use English in real-life settings

Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning
Plan engaging lessons that follow the curriculum and meet student needs.
Create a positive classroom environment and foster active participation.
Provide constructive feedback.
Ensure lessons run smoothly and on schedule.
Administration
Keep accurate records (attendance, lesson plans, and progress).
Attend and contribute to staff meetings.
Safeguarding & Student Welfare
Follow all safeguarding policies and procedures.
Be proactive in supporting student well-being and resolving issues.
Report concerns (health, safety, welfare, or behaviour) to senior management.
Person Specification
We are looking for someone who demonstrates the following:
First Degree or equivalent (Level 6 Qualification) OR TEFLQ Diploma - Cambridge DELTA (or equivalent)
TEFLI/TESOL Certificate - Cambridge CELTA (or equivalent)
QTS or PGCE in English/modern languages/primary or PGCE with ELT
Strong communication skills
Flexible, adaptable and able to work with different age groups and levels
Good time management skills
Ability to plan lessons independently and use own initiative
Reliable, responsible, punctual, and professional
