Job Description

We are a small school looking for qualified EFL teachers to join our team in 2026. The role primarily involves teaching international junior students English at our school in Cirencester. Our curriculum is varied so you will be teaching general English with the possibility of also teaching English PLUS courses (English + Shakespeare / English + How to be a Tour Guide / English + A Preparation for Work etc).

This position is being offered with two contract options:

1) a fixed contract with regular hours offered each week. Fixed contracts are currently being offered until Easter 2026 or until August 2026, with the possibility of extending further into the autumn / winter.

2) a zero-hour contract on an on-going basis. This would suit teachers who are looking for flexibility in the number of weeks or hours they work across the year.

Hours vary from 9 - 30 per week but there are potential opportunities to assist with activities or excursions if desired (this is not a requirement of the teaching post).

Applicants must have a level 6 qualification (degree or equivalent), specific teaching qualification ( such as PCSE, Trinity TESOL Cert or CELTA). Please note, as this position involves working with junior students, you will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check if you are successful. Any gaps in CVs must be fully explained and references will be required.
