Want to join us? As a Change/Project Manager, you\xe2\x80\x99ll lead our electric vehicle transition within Scottish Water\xe2\x80\x99s Fleet department.

Note, this is a fixed term role for 12 months.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do

The role will require high levels of customer focus to ensure that our electric vehicles meet operational and driver specific requirements. You must be aware of relevant transport legislation and emerging zero-emission fleet technology, including home and workplace charging infrastructure.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll lead focused engagement sessions with our internal customers to understand existing and future operational requirements. You\xe2\x80\x99ll also engage with external consultants and fleet teams to ensure industry best practice is considered and to validate any change proposals.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll manage, prepare, and deliver business communications to ensure the wider organisation is kept up to date with the product, service, and infrastructure trials as appropriate. Championing the electrical vehicle transition within Scottish Water.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll also be responsible for ensuring that any trials are delivered within time, cost and quality constraints as agreed with CVT Leadership Team to prove the viability of future investment.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll need

Ideally, you\xe2\x80\x99ll have knowledge of LCVs, EVs and charging infrastructure.

Proven experience in change and project management as well as budget and cost management.

Must be an effective communicator (verbal, written) to manage internal and external stakeholders e.g., suppliers, operational teams etc.

Also, an understanding of the regulatory and legal obligations of commercial vehicle fleet operations.

Must be able to use of Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook), and be able to grasp new software application.

There will also be a requirement to travel to meet suppliers and operational teams, therefore a full UK driving licence and transport is essential.

Beyond that, we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence - Road Haulage.

The salary range for this role is \xc2\xa335,384.00 - 47,924.00 per annum pro rata (depending on skills and experience).
