South Staffordshire College is looking to employ an experienced assessor / practitioner to our ever-growing electrical team across all our campuses to engage with our Electrical apprentices on their learning journey, we are looking for a visionary, passionate, innovative, and enthusiastic practitioner to join the department and inspire our Electrical apprentices and develop the future of this sector of industry.

The successful candidate will be a qualified electrician with at least 3 years' current occupational experience in the electrical trade. A teaching qualification (PGCE or DTTLS), an Assessors qualification (A1 or equivalent) with teaching experience at Level 3 and experience of AM2 and assessing in the workplace is desirable.

Good communication skills, the ability to work as a team and to use your own initiative will be essential to your success as well as a full driving licence and willingness to travel, as you will be frequently off site.
