We are currently looking for an Electrical Category Buyer to join a leading manufacturer of motorcycles based in the UK! The successful candidate will drive the purchasing function of the UK based global brand to ensure a robust and committed supply chain.
The Electrical Category Buyer will:

Act as the category expert for electrical components, managing the supply base, costing, and supplier sourcing.
Lead early supplier engagement for new projects, including supplier validation and tracking.
Negotiate pricing and contracts for new and development products, ensuring manufacturing feasibility and capacity reviews are completed.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships with clear and consistent communication.
Support purchasing and related departments by proactively managing supply risks that could impact projects.
Prepare and issue purchase orders and order schedules.

The Electrical Category Buyer will have:

3-year minimum Industry experience in Engineering or Manufacturing company.
Proven experience in Electrical category procurement.
Degree Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive or Supply Chain.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Technical knowledge to interpret drawings and specifications to ensure supplier alignment.
High attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management abilities.
