Electrical Contract Lead
! Working within our Asset Compliance Department, you will lead the team responsible for the delivery of the EICR, fire servicing programme. Both delivered as an in-house service via BAFE and NICEIC accreditation.
We own and manage c.7,500 homes in the east of England, working closely with other agencies and stakeholders within our communities. We build on the good foundations we have in place in being a customer-centric organisation, investing in our existing homes - including our zero-carbon journey - as well as building new homes.

Requirements
Outline of Key Responsibilities...
Responsible for the EICR programme, planned electrical upgrades, fire extinguisher and active fire precautions servicing programme (fire alarms, smoke vents, AOVs)
Provide specialist technical advice and guidance on the identification, management and mitigation of electrical risks to promote a positive safety culture across the business and safe working practices
Acting as a qualified supervisor for our NICEIC accreditation and the responsible person for BAFE accreditation
Lead and develop a competent team of technicians and administrators which delivers an efficient and solution-focused service
To develop a robust performance framework that promotes continuous improvement, to deliver business objectives, KPI targets and performance management both at a service and team level
Manage specialist TV SAT IRS distribution systems, door entry system repairs and replacements and all remedial works arising from servicing programmes
We are looking for someone who has...
Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations: BS 7671 (as amended)
Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification of Electrical Installations
Level 3 Award in the Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations
Holds current ECS/CSCS card. (Approved Electrician or above)
Experience of a similar role, including the management of contractors
A demonstrable track record of leadership, motivation and performance management
Experience of managing budgets, analysing trends and accurate forecasting
A full UK Driving licence
