Electrical Contracts Manager - Scotland
This is an outstanding opportunity for an Electrical Contracts Manager with strong interpersonal skills and commercial awareness to advance their career. As an Electrical Contracts Manager, you will collaborate closely with project managers and contracts managers from the UK's top 10 construction companies. Your role as an Electrical Contracts Manager will involve a 50/50 split between office-based duties and on-site management, overseeing projects valued between 100k and 1 million. Effective management of labour and materials is essential to succeed as an Electrical Contracts Manager, handling a variety of small to large-scale commercial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Contracts Manager:

• As an Electrical Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing electricians, mates, and improvers while ensuring proper allocation of resources.
• The Electrical Contracts Manager will oversee spending, ensuring projects remain on budget.
• The Electrical Contracts Manager will liaise with clients, site supervisors, and project managers to ensure smooth execution.
• The Electrical Contracts Manager will benefit from excellent progression opportunities.
• The Electrical Contracts Manager will split their time between the office (near Glasgow) and sites across Scotland.

Requirements for the Electrical Contracts Manager:

• The Electrical Contracts Manager must be a JIB-qualified electrician or manager.
• The Electrical Contracts Manager should have expertise in SWA, lighting, and containment work within commercial or utilities projects.
• The Electrical Contracts Manager should have strong commercial site experience.
• The Electrical Contracts Manager must be based within a commutable distance of Glasgow.
