We are seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to oversee multiple projects across the UK. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent project management skills to ensure the successful delivery of electrical installation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & Delivery
Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of electrical installation projects across various locations.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve any on-site issues.
Team Leadership & Management
Supervise and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Ensure all team members adhere to health & safety regulations and company procedures.
Provide technical guidance and support to site personnel.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and other key stakeholders.
Attend project meetings, provide progress reports, and ensure client expectations are met.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and suppliers.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with industry regulations, including BS7671 and HSE guidelines.
Conduct risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and toolbox talks as required.
Promote a strong health & safety culture within the team.
Financial & Commercial Management
Manage project budgets, cost control, and procurement processes.
Ensure accurate reporting on financial performance and project profitability.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
SMSTS or SSSTS.
Experience
Proven experience in electrical contracting, ideally in a management role.
Strong background in commercial and industrial electrical installations.
Experience managing multiple projects and teams across different locations.
Skills & Competencies:
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to manage budgets and financial planning.
Full UK driving licence (essential).

Pay: 55,000.00-75,000.00 per year
