An Engineering consultancy in Liverpool is seeking to add an Electrical Engineer to the team. You will join a young company who are operating out of their Liverpool office with great success, organically growing the business and head count year on year. It\'s a supportive team for you to join as an intermediate engineers which means you will need some Electrical Building Service Design experience already in order to be successful with this application.

You will work across a variety of projects across a number of design stages and it is important that you have a good understand of the RIBA Stages and the importance of developing a design. You will be supported by other Senior Engineers who will help you to develop into a Senior engineer, leading projects within a short period of time and them getting progressively larger.

The role:

• Produce electrical designs and specifications.
• Knowledge of RIBA Stages and ability to work through stages 1-4
• Electrical design calculations
• Technical report writing
• Attending site surveys
• Participation in Design Team Meetings
• Coordination with other internal and external teams, design or otherwise associated with the project.
• Working to relevant building standards and design codes

Requirements

• A HNC/Degree/Masters qualification - Electrical or Building Services
• Professional membership of relevant institute (CIBSE, IET most likely)
• Experience of Electrical building services design
• Client interaction skills, good communication skills written and verbal
• Experience using various computer packages, engineering or otherwise
