Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer working hands-on in installations, commissioning, or maintenance within the water or utilities sector? Looking to step off the tools and move into a design-focused engineering career where your practical knowledge truly adds value? We're looking for a motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join our growing team, designing and delivering electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment plants for Welsh Water. You'll play a key role in turning client requirements and process needs into well-engineered, buildable electrical solutions.
What You'll Be Doing

Producing documents including single-line diagrams, cable schedules, block cable diagrams, Amtech calculations, load schedules and loop wiring diagrams.
Collaborating with mechanical, process, and civil teams to ensure fully integrated designs.
Conducting site surveys and when required.
Ensuring designs comply with relevant standards (BS7671, IET Wiring Regulations, etc.) and client specifications.

Experience in electrical installations or maintenance, ideally in water treatment or utilities.
Understanding of control systems, LV distribution, and industrial wiring.
