We are seeking a highly skilled

Dynamic Positioning (DP) & Critical Systems Engineer

to join our growing team. This role supports projects across the region and globally, ensuring the highest standards of vessel assurance, audits, and technical delivery. You will play a key part in advancing our DP business lines and supporting innovative technologies such as hybrid vessels and autonomous shipping.

Key Responsibilities



Prepare documentation and detailed reports for FMEA/FMECA, proving trials, DP annual and 5-year trials, audits, ASOG/WSOG development, and gap analyses. Conduct vessel assurance and audits across DP and other critical systems. Provide specialist expertise in electrical DP engineering and control systems, ensuring compliance with statutory rulings and industry guidance (IMO, IMCA, MTS, OCIMF). Support ship design projects, technical reviews, and maritime studies. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and team members to ensure project success and customer satisfaction. Assist in preparing tenders and proposals for DP services and offshore projects. Contribute to the continual development of DP business lines in the region.

Qualifications and Experience



Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent seagoing electrical qualifications. Minimum 10 years' professional technical experience, with advanced knowledge of DP systems and associated control equipment. Strong ability to interpret complex manuals/drawings and produce Visio diagrams. Excellent technical writing and reporting skills. High competency in Microsoft Office and IT systems. Knowledge of industry rules and guidance (IMO, IMCA, MTS, OCIMF). Positive, enthusiastic, and self-motivated. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure. Flexible approach to working hours and offshore site attendance.
