About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Electrical & Electronic Technician to join our friendly team. In this role, you will support the development, testing, and verification of battery systems, embedded electronics, and healthcare mobility solutions. This includes prototyping, harness building, test jig assembly, firmware flashing, and lab-based diagnostics. This is a full-time role with comprehensive training provided.
Requirements
Essential:
5+ years' experience in an electrical/electronic technician or R&D support role
Ability to read wiring diagrams and electronic schematics
Skilled in soldering, crimping, and harness fabrication
Experience using oscilloscopes, DMMs, power meters, and debug tools
Familiarity with embedded systems and firmware flashing tools (e.g. SEGGER, STLink, Cypress)
Strong documentation and organisational skills
Desirable:
Experience with IEC 60601-1, 62368-1 or IPC standards
Exposure to smart battery systems and low-voltage electronics
Familiarity with OrCAD, Altium or equivalent schematic viewing tools
Field support or customer diagnostics experience
Key Responsibilities
Build and test prototypes of battery-powered and embedded control systems
Assemble and design wiring harnesses and enclosures
Support the development and maintenance of engineering test fixtures
Perform firmware flashing and board-level diagnostics
Document test results, assembly procedures, and system configurations
Support occasional on-site commissioning and product support activities
