Harness your expertise in low voltage electrical networks and shape the future of our vehicles. Craft ingenious control strategies, features and functions that will powerfully slash the electrical energy consumption of JLR vehicles.

Utilising data modelling, advanced analytics, benchmark data and system models to sculpt functional blocks that will seamlessly integrate into JLR vehicles\' control systems. Amplifying their electrical efficiency.

The successful candidate will also liaise and work closely with wide range of stakeholders to implement the electrical energy control arbitration of complex systems & features

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Create Matlab Simulink models for electrical energy moderation for complex systems, capabilities or features

Analyse benchmark data of cars, systems & features to improve their electrical efficiency of JLR vehicles

Design and release control logic where required, for ECU implementation

Author requirements to enable system owners to implement & work within electrical energy budget for certain specific use cases (both legislative and real world)

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Proficient in Matlab, Matlab Simulink.

Experience/understanding with electrical systems and automotive low voltage electrical network and associated standards.

Experience/understanding of vehicle communication network and associated protocols.

A good appreciation of functional safety aspects of automotive electrical network design and implementation.
