Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and innovative Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems design and development, with experience in various engineering tools and methodologies. This role will involve working on cutting-edge projects, contributing to the design and implementation of electrical systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Responsibilities



Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components for various applications. Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation for creating detailed schematics and layouts. Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing designs. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible for production. Perform project scheduling to manage timelines effectively. Engage in system design using tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, and SystemVerilog. Implement programmable logic controllers (PLCs) in system designs. Develop firmware for embedded systems using C++, Python, or Perl. Conduct signal processing and debugging of electrical systems. Utilize FPGA technology for advanced system functionalities. Apply knowledge of surface mount technology (SMT) in PCB design and assembly. Participate in vision inspection system setups to ensure quality control standards are met.

Requirements



Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Mechanical Engineering knowledge is a plus. Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks. Experience with FPGA design and programming; familiarity with ARM architecture is advantageous. Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles including NEC standards. Knowledge of system design methodologies and experience with SoC implementations. Familiarity with scripting languages for automation tasks; experience with Arduino is a plus. Ability to perform soldering tasks and work with various electronic components such as ohmmeters. Excellent problem-solving skills demonstrated through effective root cause analysis techniques. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Pay: 28,349.54-42,000.00 per year
