Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join a leading multi-disciplinary engineering team working on a wide range of innovative and sustainable building projects. You'll gain hands-on experience delivering designs across various sectors and be supported in developing toward Chartership.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the design and coordination of electrical building services on a variety of projects. Support senior engineers in producing calculations, drawings, and specifications. Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions. Attend design meetings and contribute to technical discussions. Maintain awareness of relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices. Engage with digital tools and modelling software to support efficient project delivery.

Requirements

Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or similar). Between 2-5 years experience in electrical design within a consultancy or contractor environment. Working knowledge of UK building regulations and standards. Familiarity with design tools such as Amtech, Revit, Dialux, or similar. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Keen interest in progressing toward Chartership (e.g., with CIBSE or IET).
