Purpose of Role




We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the team on a Defence site in Bicester.





This is a vital role where you'll be responsible for both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance, ensuring the site's electrical systems remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.


Responsibilities




Carry out scheduled PPM tasks on a variety of electrical systems and equipment Respond promptly and effectively to reactive maintenance requests Diagnose and repair faults to ensure minimal downtime Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with relevant regulations and Vinci Facilities standards Accurately complete maintenance documentation and update system records Participate in the on-call rota (1 in 5 weeks), providing emergency support as required Work closely with the site team and external contractors when necessary

Essential Qualifications/Skills




NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation/Maintenance 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification Proven experience in electrical maintenance Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Good communication and teamwork abilities Full UK driving licence Must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance (due to Defence site requirements)
