WALSTEAD BICESTER, one of the UK's leading web offset printers has the following vacancies for their site based in Bicester Oxfordshire:

Electrical Engineer

21 shifts holiday.

Avg. 42 hours per week

12 hours shifts - Nights 19.00 to 07.00 - working Monday to Wednesday (wk1) Monday to Thursday (wk2)

Responsible for repairs and maintenance of all production related equipment, including breakdown repairs, fault finding and continuous improvement project/task work, ordering of spares and general site facility tasks.

The successful candidate must have:

Relevant training NVQ/C&G Level 3 Electrical Engineering or have served an apprenticeship. Have experience working as an Industrial Electrical Shift Engineer. Any experience in the printing industry would be preferable but not essential. Experience with maintenance programmes within a production or manufacturing environment. Electromechanical skills a definite advantage. Have excellent communication, organisational and team work skills. Self-motivation, ability to apply initiative and determination.
Training and development opportunities available

Knowledge of drives, plc's and 24volt control circuits

Strong numeracy and literacy skills are essential

Be able to demonstrate the necessary flexibility, enthusiasm and drive to work within a busy department.
