The role involve becoming part of a larger design team to assist with the production Electrical design package from the point of initial concept to the point of handover.
Applicants selected for this position will work on a variety of Building Services projects including; MoD, industrial, commercial, healthcare, education, residential, new builds, and refurbishment projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Working in the design preparation of surveys and reports
Working closely with other members of the team in order to produce a M&E package to include;
o Selection of systems and products
o Preparation of technical Drawings and specifications
o preparation of schematics
o preparation of schedules
o Calculations related to design
Preparing schemes for the tender process, including collecting pre-construction information, preparing tender documents, and issuing tender packages.
Participate in meetings as needed
Manage workload and projects and communicate with project coordinators
Providing input on the content and delivery of CPDs and presentations
Ensure that you are knowledgeable about current regulations and are up to date
Maintain an ongoing learning strategy by engaging in relevant continuing professional development (CPDs) and webinars
Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum qualification. The following subjects are preferred at HNC level:
o Electrical engineering
o Mechanical engineering
o Building services engineering
BSc/BEng or MSc/Meng or CEng is desirable in the same subjects
Preferably with experience in a similar position
Expertise in providing advice and consulting to clients related to construction, building services, and renewable energy
Thorough understanding of relevant building regulations and statutory requirements
A working knowledge of AutoCAD for 2D drawings
The use of 3D drawing and modelling software such as REVIT is desirable
The use of calculation software such as AMTECH/TRIMBLE/RELUX/DIALUX is desirable
Good understanding/willingness to learn about building science, services and renewable technologies

Salary package:
The salary will be negotiated according to your experience and the type of role you are best suited (Engineer/Technician).
Full-time role: Monday through Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm.
25-day holiday package (plus public holidays).
