Electrical Engineer

Carlisle, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our Electrical Engineering team. This is a hands-on role where you will build, wire, test and inspect electrical assemblies that support the production of our specialist door systems. Working within our Carlisle facility, you will play a key part in ensuring every control panel, loom and electrical sub-assembly meets the strict quality, safety and technical standards expected of Clark Door products. The role is primarily factory based but may involve occasional site support for installation, commissioning or service activities.

ABOUT YOU

To thrive in this role, you'll bring solid electrical experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment, with the practical skills and confidence needed to work autonomously on detailed electrical assemblies. You'll enjoy hands-on problem solving, interpreting technical drawings and delivering work to exacting standards every time.

You'll be a clear and effective communicator, comfortable working with colleagues at all levels, from apprentices through to senior engineers. You take pride in safe, methodical working practices and understand the importance of accuracy, traceability and compliance in an engineering environment.

You're organised, detail-focused and naturally committed to doing things properly. You bring a positive, professional approach, even when working under pressure or adapting to changing priorities. You'll also be joining a supportive, collaborative team, so a willingness to help others, share your knowledge and maintain a good sense of humour will serve you well.
