Blackwood Partnership is a building services consultancy providing mechanical, electrical, and public health engineering design services. We work across a range of sectors including education, healthcare, commercial, and infrastructure. We are currently looking to recruit an Electrical Engineer to support ongoing project work and contribute to the development of our team.

Role Overview

The role involves supporting the design and delivery of electrical building services, including power, lighting, fire alarms, and data systems. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of senior engineers and have the opportunity to develop both technically and professionally within a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with electrical design and specification for a range of building services projects Produce technical drawings and reports Contribute to calculations using appropriate design software and standards Support coordination with other disciplines and external design teams Attend site visits and support with surveys and inspections as required Maintain good project documentation and file management

Candidate Requirements

HND in Electrical Engineering or Building Services (or equivalent) OR working towards a relevant degree 3 years experience in a consultancy or construction environment . Familiarity with software AutoCAD & Revit MEP is essential. Experience with Amtech would be beneficial. Willingness to learn and develop within the role Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
