Works mainly consist of hard FM; reactive and planned maintenance with our key contracts secured with high profile restaurant and retail chains. Due to winning new contracts, we have requirements for Electrical Engineers based locally to the following locations, OX, WD, MK, LU, AL, HA, SL, UB, EN, HP

Key Responsibilities:



Operations over the following postcodes: OX, WD, MK, LU. AL, HA, SL, UB, EN, HP - however, there may be a requirement outside of this area on occasion. Covering reactive call outs on an electrical basis for our main clients within the hospitality and retail industry. Attend and respond to reactive repairs within set SLA's and KPI's Log all details of jobs on hand held device applications for further action Demonstrate knowledge and make personal judgments on how to undertake work to achieve quality, cost and time objectives Ability to work independently performing fault analyses and repair of various faults and issues on site reporting details on further works required Ability to communicate to clients and colleagues providing technical support where required Support the team to ensure all works are carried out safely and according to regulations Proactive approach to Health and Safety To be available for out of hours emergency works based on the agreed duty engineer rota with a minimum requirement to be on call once per calendar month. Areas open to be being covered: (although we will allocate work to each engineer's strengths and skillset):
- Experienced in as many areas as possible to cover the following aspects of the contract: Electrical installation repairs, Extract fans and motors and controls, Supply fans and motors and controls, Switchgear & Bonding etc , Circuit protection, Metering systems, Surge protection equipment, Intercoms / call systems, Signage, Sump pumps and controls, Drainage pumps and controls, Water heating appliances and controls, Electric Water Boilers, Electric heaters (internal & external) and controls, Lighting and controls, Fire detection & alarm systems (conventional/open protocol addressable), Emergency Lighting systems, HVAC Equipment supplies & controls (230v mains operated), Other equipment supplies, Portable appliances (e.g. cable repairs), Voltage Optimisers & regulators, EICRs

Cover electrical PPM's:
- Emergency Lighting

- Fire Alarm

- PAT

- Voltage Optimising Equipment

- EICRs

Qualifications and Skills:



Who we are looking for; the ideal Mechanical & Electrical Engineer will have the following:

To hold minimum NVQ level 3 or higher 18th Edition essential Testing & Installing experience & qualification preferable CSCS card desirable but not essential High degree of quality awareness - Structured approach to problem solving Experience in reactive and small project maintenance desirable Team player, cooperative, interested in further development Able to work at heights. Ability to report clear and concise information Have an in-depth understand of the applicable trade along with a proven track record and ability to overcome all natures of repair within that skillset Literate in operating iPhone/iPad and android devices High degree of flexibility Highly motivated with the ability to work under pressure Willing to work some weekends and overtime as required Full driving licence Ideally be IPAF and MEWP trained and qualified however not essential as training provided Experience with the hospitality sector is preferred not essential, restaurants, pubs etc Proven work experience on Fire Alarm systems from an electrical aspect A 'can do' attitude, an electrical engineer that is able to cope with change if an emergency requires attention.
